Legal
Licence
Dwell is open source under the GPLv3 licence. Here you can find the permissions, conditions and original licence text.
What the GPLv3 licence permits
You may use, copy, modify, distribute and sell software covered by the GPLv3 licence. This includes commercial use. However, if you modify and distribute the software, you must release the entire source code under the same conditions (Copyleft).
What must be retained
The copyright notice and GPLv3 licence text must be included in all copies or substantial portions of the software. Modified source code must be disclosed upon distribution. The licence file of the relevant Dwell version is authoritative.
Provided without assurances
The GPLv3 licence provides the software “as is” and includes a warranty and liability disclaimer. Its exact wording appears in the original text below; its legal effect depends on applicable law.
Dependencies and website content
Libraries, container images and other third-party components may have their own licences. Dwell’s GPLv3 licence does not replace them. Website text, graphics and trademarks are not automatically covered by the software licence either.
